Abstract

Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah menjadi sebuah inovasi yang sangat berpengaruh dalam bidang pendidikan, terutama dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Artikel ini membahas peran AI dalam konteks pembelajaran SMP melalui tinjauan literatur yang komprehensif, dengan fokus pada penerapan teknologi seperti sistem pembelajaran adaptif, chatbot edukasi, serta penilaian otomatis. Temuan dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa AI mampu memberikan pembelajaran yang lebih personal, mempercepat proses pemberian umpan balik, serta secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Meski demikian, penerapan AI juga menghadapi berbagai kendala, termasuk kesiapan infrastruktur, pelatihan bagi tenaga pengajar, serta isu-isu terkait etika dan privasi data. Kesimpulannya, dengan pendekatan yang tepat dan dukungan yang memadai, AI memiliki potensi untuk merevolusi proses pembelajaran di SMP, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi kegiatan belajar mengajar.
