Analisis Pengaruh Rasio Profitabilitas terhadap Volatilitas Harga Saham pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sektor Makanan dan Minuman di BEI

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Net Profit Margin, dan Earnings per Share terhadap volatilitas harga saham pada perusahaan manufaktur subsektor makanan dan minuman yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia, Yahoo Finance, dan laporan tahunan perusahaan. Sampel terdiri atas 35 perusahaan dengan 245 observasi panel yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data diolah menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan IBM SPSS Statistics melalui statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh rasio profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap volatilitas harga saham, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, dengan EPS sebagai variabel paling dominan. Model mampu menjelaskan 52,4% variasi volatilitas harga saham. Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan profitabilitas cenderung menurunkan fluktuasi harga saham. Keterbatasan penelitian terletak pada penggunaan variabel fundamental internal dan fokus pada satu subsektor industri. Penelitian ini berkontribusi bagi investor, manajemen perusahaan, regulator pasar modal, serta pengembangan Financial Management dan Investment Analysis.
