Gambaran Makna Kerja pada Pekerja Kreatif Digital

Sektor kreatif digital menempatkan pekerja pada kondisi kerja dengan tenggat waktu ketat, tuntutan multitasking, serta budaya kerja yang selalu aktif. Namun demikian, banyak pekerja kreatif digital tetap melaporkan tingkat pemaknaan kerja yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan makna kerja pada pekerja kreatif digital dengan menelaah dimensi-dimensinya serta proses pembentukan makna kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei terhadap 103 pekerja kreatif digital, dengan instrumen Work and Meaning Inventory (WAMI; Steger et al., 2012) dan Tarumanagara Meaning in Life Scale versi adaptasi (TaruMiLS; Suyasa, 2008). Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk memetakan kecenderungan pemaknaan kerja pada tingkat dimensi, sekaligus memahami sumber makna kerja yang dominan dalam pengalaman kerja sehari-hari. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun dihadapkan pada tuntutan kerja yang signifikan, pekerja kreatif digital memersepsikan pekerjaannya sebagai sesuatu yang bermakna secara personal. Makna kerja terutama terbentuk melalui keterlibatan yang konsisten dalam proses kerja kreatif, bukan semata-mata melalui ketiadaan tuntutan atau kondisi kerja yang ideal. Persepsi berbasis proses ini selanjutnya diperkuat oleh penilaian positif terhadap pekerjaan, rasa berkembang, serta pengalaman bahwa aktivitas kreatif yang dijalani memiliki arah dan nilai bagi diri. Selain itu, makna kerja juga berkaitan dengan perasaan berkontribusi melampaui kepentingan pribadi, misalnya ketika karya dianggap bermanfaat bagi orang lain, mendukung tujuan organisasi, atau memberi dampak sosial yang lebih luas. Secara keseluruhan, temuan penelitian menegaskan pentingnya peran proses kreatif dalam mempertahankan makna kerja di tengah tuntutan kerja digital yang tinggi.
