Abstract

Tidur merupakan kebutuhan fisiologis dasar yang berperan penting dalam menjaga kesehatan fisik, mental, dan performa akademik mahasiswa. Mahasiswa kedokteran rentan mengalami gangguan tidur akibat beban akademik yang tinggi, terutama saat menghadapi masa ujian. Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta menerapkan sistem pembelajaran berbasis blok dengan beberapa bentuk evaluasi, di antaranya Ujian Evaluasi Belajar (EB) dan Student Oral Case Analysis (SOCA), yang memiliki karakter tekanan akademik berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kualitas tidur mahasiswa Program Studi Kedokteran FKIK UMY saat melakukan persiapan ujian EB dan SOCA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik komparatif dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Subjek penelitian adalah 268 mahasiswa kedokteran FKIK UMY yang dipilih menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel total. Kualitas tidur diukur menggunakan kuesioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik untuk mengetahui perbedaan kualitas tidur antara masa persiapan ujian EB dan SOCA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa mengalami kualitas tidur yang buruk pada kedua jenis ujian. Proporsi kualitas tidur buruk lebih tinggi saat menghadapi ujian EB dibandingkan SOCA, yaitu masing-masing sebesar 96,6% dan 87,3%. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kualitas tidur mahasiswa saat melakukan persiapan ujian EB dan SOCA dengan nilai p < 0,001. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kualitas tidur mahasiswa kedokteran FKIK UMY antara masa persiapan ujian EB dan SOCA. Ujian EB memberikan tekanan akademik yang lebih besar dan berdampak lebih buruk terhadap kualitas tidur dibandingkan ujian SOCA.
