Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh transformational leadership dan talent management terhadap employee performance yang dimediasi oleh job satisfaction pada karyawan di sektor pemerintahan. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan meliputi pengujian validitas, reliabilitas, serta Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 220 karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa talent management berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance, sedangkan transformational leadership tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan secara langsung terhadap employee performance. Selain itu, transformational leadership dan talent management terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job satisfaction. Namun demikian, job satisfaction tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee performance serta tidak mampu memediasi hubungan antara kedua variabel prediktor tersebut dengan employee performance. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada konteks sektor publik, khususnya kementerian pemerintah, yang masih relatif jarang dieksplorasi dalam kajian hubungan antara transformational leadership, talent management, dan employee performance dengan job satisfaction sebagai variabel mediasi. Implikasi manajerial menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas talent management melalui pengembangan kompetensi dan pengelolaan karier dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara langsung. Sementara itu, peningkatan transformational leadership lebih berperan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dibandingkan kinerja pegawai secara langsung. Secara teoritis, hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan kerangka konseptual studi manajemen sumber daya manusia di sektor publik serta membuka peluang bagi penelitian selanjutnya dengan cakupan organisasi dan variabel yang lebih luas.
