Strategi Kepala Sekolah Dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Teknis Tenaga Kependidikan di SMK Negeri 1 GOWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi teknis tenaga kependidikan di SMK Negeri 1 Gowa, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang memengaruhi efektivitas strategi tersebut. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari kebutuhan mendesak akan tenaga kependidikan yang profesional, kompeten, dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi administrasi pendidikan di era digital yang terus berkembang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif, yang memungkinkan peneliti menggambarkan secara mendalam fenomena kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam konteks manajemen sekolah kejuruan serta interaksi dengan tenaga kependidikan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung di lingkungan sekolah, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah serta tenaga kependidikan yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tahapan pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, serta penarikan kesimpulan data secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan strategi peningkatan kompetensi teknis melalui perencanaan berbasis kebutuhan, pelatihan dan supervisi berkelanjutan, serta penguatan kolaborasi internal dan antarunit organisasi. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi komitmen kepemimpinan, dukungan internal dari staf dan manajemen, serta ketersediaan fasilitas dan sarana penunjang, sementara hambatan muncul dari keterbatasan waktu, sumber daya pelatih, dan insentif yang terbatas. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap pengembangan konsep kepemimpinan strategis dan transformasional dalam konteks tenaga kependidikan non-guru, serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi kepala sekolah dan pembuat kebijakan untuk merancang program pembinaan teknis yang terstruktur, berkelanjutan, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan manajemen pendidikan modern.
