Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji keterkaitan antara insan (manusia) dan mal (harta) dalam ekonomi Islam dalam kerangka maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis kepustakaan dengan menganalisis literatur klasik dan kontemporer ekonomi Islam yang relevan, serta didukung oleh artikel jurnal sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam memandang manusia sebagai khalīfah (pemimpin) yang diberi amanah untuk mengelola harta bukan sebagai tujuan akhir, melainkan sebagai sarana mencapai keadilan sosial, keberlanjutan, dan kesejahteraan kolektif. Perspektif ini membedakan ekonomi Islam dari paradigma konvensional yang cenderung memisahkan moralitas dari aktivitas ekonomi. Penelitian ini juga menemukan kebaruan dalam integrasi konsep insan dan mal ke dalam kerangka holistik pemikiran ekonomi Islam. Temuan penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan wacana teoritis sekaligus memiliki implikasi praktis, khususnya dalam perumusan kebijakan distribusi kekayaan, instrumen keuangan syariah, dan program pembangunan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya dimensi etika dan spiritual dalam membentuk ekonomi Islam kontemporer.
