Abstract

Sistem Informasi Laboratorium (Laboratory Information System/LIS) merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam transformasi digital pelayanan kesehatan yang berperan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi proses pemeriksaan laboratorium di rumah sakit. Implementasi LIS memungkinkan integrasi data pemeriksaan laboratorium dengan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS), sehingga mempercepat proses registrasi, pengolahan spesimen, validasi hasil pemeriksaan, hingga distribusi hasil kepada tenaga medis. Salah satu indikator utama keberhasilan pelayanan laboratorium adalah turnaround time (TAT) atau waktu tunggu penyelesaian hasil pemeriksaan, karena berpengaruh terhadap kecepatan pengambilan keputusan klinis dan kualitas pelayanan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi Sistem Informasi Laboratorium terhadap efisiensi turnaround time pelayanan rumah sakit melalui pendekatan literature review. Metode penelitian menggunakan tinjauan pustaka dengan menganalisis artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional, pedoman organisasi kesehatan, serta publikasi akademik yang diterbitkan pada periode 2016–2026. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi LIS mampu mempercepat turnaround time melalui otomatisasi alur kerja, integrasi data, serta pengurangan kesalahan administrasi. Berbagai literatur juga menunjukkan bahwa implementasi LIS yang dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan sistem, integrasi dengan SIMRS, pelatihan pengguna, implementasi bertahap, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan memberikan dampak yang lebih efektif terhadap efisiensi pelayanan laboratorium. Kesimpulannya, implementasi Sistem Informasi Laboratorium merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan laboratorium serta mendukung mutu pelayanan rumah sakit secara berkelanjutan.
