Pengaruh Work Life Balance, Tingkat Stres Kerja, dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Gen Z di Surakarta

Perkembangan dunia kerja yang semakin dinamis serta meningkatnya dominasi Generasi Z dalam pasar tenaga kerja menjadikan pemahaman mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja karyawan sebagai isu yang penting bagi organisasi. Generasi Z memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya, terutama dalam hal kebutuhan akan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja, perhatian terhadap kesehatan mental, dan harapan terhadap pengembangan diri. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work-life balance, tingkat stres kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Generasi Z pada perusahaan di Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan landasan teori utama Social Exchange Theory (SET) yang menjelaskan hubungan timbal balik antara organisasi dan karyawan, didukung oleh Job Demands-Resources Theory (JD-R Theory) serta Expectancy Theory dalam menjelaskan keterkaitan antarvariabel penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan Generasi Z yang bekerja di Kota Surakarta dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah responden yang terlibat sebanyak 100 orang. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics melalui uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, tingkat stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, work-life balance, tingkat stres kerja, dan motivasi kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Generasi Z. Temuan penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa tingkat stres kerja merupakan faktor yang paling dominan dalam memengaruhi kinerja karyawan.
