Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Penanaman Modal Asing (PMA) dan inflasi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia pada periode 2010–2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan mengolah data sekunder runtut waktu (time series) tahunan sebanyak 16 observasi. Dalam model analisis, pertumbuhan ekonomi ditempatkan sebagai variabel dependen, sedangkan PMA berperan sebagai variabel independen utama dan inflasi dimasukkan sebagai variabel kontrol makroekonomi untuk menghindari bias spesifikasi model. Analisis estimasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linear berganda yang dilengkapi dengan uji stasioneritas Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) serta serangkaian uji asumsi klasik model. Hasil estimasi secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel PMA memiliki koefisien regresi bernilai positif sebesar 0,0234, tetapi berpengaruh tidak signifikan secara statistik (P=0,5903$). Variabel inflasi juga menghasilkan koefisien positif sebesar 0,3969 dan tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan (P =0,1154$). Secara simultan melalui uji F, kombinasi PMA dan inflasi belum mampu menjelaskan variasi pertumbuhan ekonomi secara signifikan (P =0,2757$) dengan koefisien determinasi (R ^2$) sebesar 17,98 persen. Pengujian asumsi residual mengungkapkan bahwa data belum berdistribusi normal akibat guncangan ekonomi eksternal pada pandemi COVID-19 tahun 2020, sehingga analisis inferensial diinterpretasikan secara berhati-hati. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan nilai PMA secara nominal tidak secara otomatis membuktikan adanya peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi pada periode yang sama. Ke depan, kebijakan pemerintah hendaknya lebih memfokuskan perhatian pada perbaikan kualitas investasi, kapasitas penyerapan teknologi, penguatan sumber daya manusia, serta penguatan sektor industri lokal daripada sekadar mengejar target nilai nominal modal asing.
