Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan perkembangan penelitian mengenai pemanfaatan sejarah lokal dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar, mengidentifikasi kontribusi penulis, jurnal, dan negara, serta mengungkap kesenjangan dan peluang penelitian masa depan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), melalui penelusuran pada basis data Scopus dan menghasilkan 19 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dan tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tren publikasi, kontribusi ilmiah, serta perkembangan dan kesenjangan penelitian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penelitian berkembang secara sporadis dan mulai memperoleh perhatian lebih besar dalam dekade terakhir; Amerika Serikat menjadi negara dengan kontribusi publikasi tertinggi, sedangkan kontribusi penulis dan institusi masih relatif tersebar. Sintesis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejarah lokal berpotensi menciptakan pembelajaran IPS yang kontekstual, bermakna, dan berbasis budaya, tetapi penelitian mengenai kesiapan guru, efektivitas strategi pembelajaran, dampak terhadap peserta didik, integrasi kurikulum, dan hambatan implementasi masih terbatas. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya pengembangan dan pengujian pendekatan pembelajaran sejarah lokal yang lebih sistematis, kontekstual, dan berbasis bukti untuk memperkuat pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar.
